~ A new worship experience for children ages 3-5 grade ~

In Children Worship & Wonder children hear Bible stories and learn about God while experiencing the presence of God.  The stories of God are told in such a way that allows listeners to enter into the stories and form responses out of their own experiences.  They learn the meaning of church traditions and have opportunities to participate in worship practices.

 

Designed for children ages 3 - 5 grade, Children Worship & Wonder will be used during children's church, after the children leave 10:30 a.m. Sunday Worship at the Children's Minute (about 10:45 a.m.).  It is a Montessori-influenced model and often works wonders with children who have attention deficit problems.

 

Significant training has taken place by the teacher, and the congregation has committed significant financial resources to put together the children's worship center. 


One leader from another church commented, "We did not think Children Worship & Wonder would work with the children of our church.  However we were wrong.  The children have responded beautifully.  Now I see that Children Worship & Wonder is exactly what our children have been needing.  This way of being in worship with children has been a blessing to our congregation."
