Books! Books! Books!
Our house and bookshelves are overflowing with books.  Are your shelves too full?  Would you like to buy a book without trying to force it onto a shelf?  Bring your treasured (and unwanted) books to FCCC for a BOOK SALE on Sept. 18, 2010.

We will have room for all your books, and hopefully people to buy them.  Plan to come to the sale and restock your shelves with a variety of gently read mystery, adventure, romance, gay/ lesbian, and spiritual/religious books.  Gather up your old books, dust them off, and box them up.

You may bring your books to the gym AFTER September 1st.  All proceeds from the sale will be used to make the church library better for both kids and adults. A ny unsold books will be donated to a local charity or bookstore.  See Claire Munley, Cody Corrigan, or Sue Schimmel for answers to your questions.

PLEASE NOTE: NO ENCYCLOPEDIAS

Summer Reading!

The Franklin Circle Lending Library book cart has received a donation of more than 20 additional books for our younger members.  The books range from ―Little Miss Spider to ―Sesame Street.  Feel free to visit the book cart during coffee hour after church and check out a book or two that catches your eye!

School is out – and the Summer Reading Lists are at the church Library
Parents—before the young ones cry ―"I’m bored" the first time, have them check out a book on their reading list (see below).  We will have some from each grade level available by July 1st.  The books will be grouped for easy choosing.  (There will be a definite return date on these so that everyone can read them).

Also, for those older than school age, take a look at some great reading adventures for sitting on the porch or in the cool living room.  Read about a sports figure, biography or just something frivolous.  Just read to enjoy the moment!
