Community Events at Fairview Park
(b/w W. 32nd & W. 39th, just south of Franklin Blvd.)
Dear Friends of Fairview Park,
Following is a message from Martha Loughridge, board member of
the Ohio City Bicycle Co-op. If you can help, please contact
Martha at martha@igc.org
THANKS!
*************************
Dear Neighbors,
The Ohio City Bicycle Co-op will be conducting a Bike Rodeo on
Friday, August 22 from 7-9 pm to teach kids about bike safety.
We need 8-10 adult volunteers from the neighborhood to help with
this event. We need the volunteers to come at 6:30 for a brief
training before the event.
See the attached pdf for complete details about the bike rodeo.
In brief, the kids will register and then go from station to
station to learn specific bike safety skills.
In addition to being a great way to help kids be more safe while
bike riding, it's an opportunity for you to brush up on your own
knowledge of bike safety.
Thanks!
Martha Loughridge
