“Unity”
Ephesians 2:12-19
Michelle Brown, preacher
Unity is oneness. A circle has more unity than a row of dots, which fits
us since we are "Widening the Circle for all God's Children". Union is
joining of two or more. I will say it again, "Look around you, we are a
family. A growing, learning, loving family through God. God did not come
here for you, you came here for God. On the other hand, God doesn't wait
here for you or for Sundays, He is always with you. As long as you allow
and even when you don't He is with you. But now, in union with Christ
Jesus you who used to be far away have been brought near by the death of
Christ. He did this for you and me and He wanted it to mean something.
Would anybody else die for you? Would you die for anybody? We are
related through Christ which means we are a family. We need to stick
together. Nothing in life is guaranteed. Only God knows the plans for us
and that is why He brings us together. When good and bad times happen we
are here for each other. Right now we have seemed to hit the bad waters
pretty rough,, but together we are making it through. We are united
through Christ. We are a family through God. We are here for each other.
If anyone would like to join this wonderful family or reaffirm their
faith please come forward during this hymn.
