Worship will take place Sunday March 15, in-person at Franklin Circle Church, 10:30am. Following worship, we will be providing a "grab and go" bagged-lunch meal for those in the community who regularly join us for our 3rd Sunday Meal. A bag of groceries will also be distributed to those in need of some extra help.

PLEASE STAY HOME TOMORROW if you are sick, if you are at heightened risk of infection, if you don't feel comfortable attending, or if you haven't washed your hands ;)

THEN, BEGINNING MARCH 22, SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE WILL BECOME AN ONLINE-ONLY EXPERIENCE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. Details for accessing the streaming experience will be shared sometime next week and will be posted on our website.

In light of our current understanding and recommendations for care during the Corona Virus spread, our current plan of readiness for THIS SUNDAY, March 15 will include the following measures:

OFFERING
We will not pass collection baskets and ask that you primarily give online or you will be able to drop your giving into baskets on the way out of the chapel.

COMMUNION
We will provide pre-packaged communion elements and will place these at every seat so that communion plates do not need to be passed.  A gluten-free option will be available for those who need it.

DOORS
Our amazing greeters will hold open the doors for you to minimize your need for touching door handles.

GREETING
We are a very friendly and loving church.  So, out of our love for others, we are encouraging waving and smiling rather than handshakes and hugs.

Along with these steps to prevent the unnecessary spread of germs in a large gathering of people, we also recommend familiarizing yourself with CDC and World Health Organization recommendations:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

  • Stay home when you are sick.

  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.

  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.

Should there be any change to this plan or any new information that comes to light, we will keep you informed here.

We remain prayerful and confident in faith as our world continues to navigate through this challenging time.
